More Than a Festival


The Festival of Trees is a week-long celebration of generosity and community connection. From downtown raffle trees and family activities to live holiday music and an elegant gala beneath the stars, every event helps strengthen the nonprofits, businesses, and neighbors that make Bonner & Boundary County special.

Explore decorated raffle trees throughout Sandpoint as local nonprofits partner with businesses to raise funds and spread holiday cheer.

A festive day of holiday shopping, children’s activities, entertainment, treats, and the first public viewing of this year’s Festival trees.

Celebrate the season with the Bonners Ferry Community Orchestra, a curated Christmas Market, holiday beverages, and a preview of the Gala trees.

An elegant evening featuring dinner, live entertainment, inspiring stories, and the premier tree auction.

Your Festival Passport

Festival Passports go on sale November 21 at The Hive and all participating Charity & Cheer businesses. Each $20 Passport serves as your guide to every Charity & Cheer tree throughout Sandpoint and includes one entry into the Festival's featured raffle tree, generously donated and decorated by the Women of The Idaho Club. Complete your passport by visiting every Charity & Cheer location and you'll also be entered for a chance to win a special grand prize, generously provided by the Downtown Sandpoint Business Association.


Raffle tickets for each Charity & Cheer tree are sold separately by the participating nonprofit at each location, with 100% of proceeds benefiting that nonprofit.
